Find out more…. at Day Out With Kids
Discover a world of mystery deep amongst the trees at Groombridge Enchanted Forest. It’s home to imagination, nature and one adorable Zedonk!
Journey on foot or by canal boat to discover water pools, rope swings, wooden bridges and a maze. Spot fallow deer as you approach Crusoe’s World, with its large wooden ship, two tree houses and central viewing tower. Once at the top, look out over your own forest kingdom and marvel at the countryside around you.
In the award-winning gardens (used for the filming of Pride and Prejudice!) look out for peacocks roaming free, plus don’t miss the famous half-zebra, half-donkey Zedonk. Then, in the summer months, visit the largest conservation centre for birds of prey in the Southeast and watch them soar above your head in daily displays.

Take a trip down to the woods for the Groombridge Spooktacular – it’s going to be a scream! Alongside face painting, storytelling and more, all sorts of terrors await you. Take the Tunnel of Terror or The Witch’s Cabin! None, however, are more spine-tingling than a ‘meet and greet’ with Captain Robinson Crusoe and his skeleton crew. One stormy night many moons ago, they were shipwrecked in the Enchanted Forest and have been waiting for a ticket out of there ever since… Do you dare enter?
Takes place between the 21st and 29th of October.
